From enquiry to departure.

Here's exactly what happens after you reach out.

No guesswork

01

You reach out

Fill in our brief enquiry form — just your name and email to start. No commitment, no pressure. We'll follow up by email within 24 hours with full pricing, the detailed itinerary, and answers to the questions everyone asks first.

We respond to every enquiry within 24 hours.

02

We answer your questions

We'll send you a full information pack by email — pricing, detailed day-by-day itinerary, what's included, and how the booking process works. If you have questions after that, we're easy to reach. No surprises, no hidden fees. Everything is in writing before you commit to anything.

03

Reserve your place

A deposit reserves your place. November 2026 has limited spots — once the group is confirmed, we close bookings. After your deposit: full itinerary document, a packing list, and pre-departure information so you arrive prepared. We stay in touch as the departure gets closer. You're in good hands.

04

Pre-departure care

A check-in email 6–8 weeks before departure. A final logistics briefing 2 weeks out with everything you need to know. Emergency contact details for the full duration of the trip. We're reachable around the clock from the moment you land in Cape Town.

05

You just show up

Your airport transfer is waiting. Your room is ready. Your welcome dinner is booked. Every included activity is pre-arranged — restaurants, entrance tickets, tastings, transfers. On your own time, the city is yours to explore. That's the whole point.

Common questions

The questions everyone asks.

Is South Africa safe to visit?

Cape Town is one of the most-visited cities in Africa, and the V&A Waterfront — where we're based — is one of the safest and most well-maintained areas in the city. All our transfers are private. Our team is reachable throughout the trip. We'll share a full safety briefing before departure. Common sense and good guidance go a long way — and we've done this enough times to know exactly what that looks like.

Do I need to be an experienced traveller?

Not at all. Our group includes first-timers and seasoned travellers alike. The whole point of going with us is that you don't need to know anything about Cape Town before you arrive — that's our job. If you can get yourself to the airport, we handle everything from there.

Do I need vaccinations?

Cape Town and the Western Cape are low-risk for tropical diseases. No malaria medication required — our safari at Aquila Private Game Reserve is specifically malaria-free. We always recommend speaking with your doctor about your personal health before any long-haul trip. Standard travel vaccinations are usually all that's needed.

What's the group like?

Small, intentional, and well-matched. We keep every departure to a maximum of 12 people — small enough that you'll know everyone's name by Day 2, never large enough to feel like a tour group. Our guests tend to be curious, well-traveled, and looking for something more personal than a cruise or a package holiday. If that sounds like you, you're probably a good fit.

What if I need to cancel?

We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance — we'll share recommended providers as part of your booking. Our cancellation policy is clear and provided in full before you commit to a deposit. No surprises.
