We went once. Then we couldn't stop.

Our story

Go South Africa is a family business — in the most literal sense. One family, one destination, And the inability to stop going back.

It started with one trip. We went the way most people do — curious, a little nervous, not quite sure what to expect. We came home and immediately started talking about going again. Then we went again. We brought the whole family. We went back after that. Somewhere along the way it stopped being a trip and started being the place we keep choosing over everywhere else — and eventually someone said out loud that we should probably just start a company.

Go South Africa exists because Cape Town is one of the most extraordinary places on earth — and because the people who want to visit most are often the ones with the least guidance on how to do it well. We've done the work so you don't have to. Now we'd like to take you.

We've done the planning — the real kind, not the brochure kind. We know which Table Mountain queue to skip. We know the right table at Fyn and the right time to leave for the Winelands. We know that Robben Island takes something out of you, and that the afternoon after it should be free. We know that the Aquila safari is worth the early start — and that an early night the day before is worth it.

Between our team, we've visited over 70 countries. We keep coming back to one. That's the whole pitch.

"Cape Town isn't just a great trip. It's the one you tell people about for the rest of your life."
